Dress Code

Members, Lady Members and their guests are expected to maintain their dress and appearance at all times in a manner in keeping with the standards of the club.

The following guidelines have been prepared, but must be regarded as the minimum acceptable standard. The General Manager or his delegate may object to any particular dress, which in their opinion does not meet the standards of the club. In addition any member of the Board may object to the dress of a member. Similarly any member of the Ladies Committee may object to the dress of a Lady member.

Metal spikes are not permitted on the course or in the clubhouse.

Members visiting other courses are advised to check dress rules prior to attending.

GOLF COURSE DRESS REGULATIONS

MALES

• Shirts must have attached collars and unless specially tailored, must be worn inside trousers or shorts at all times.
• Shirts must not display any large advertising logos.
• Only tailored shorts or slacks may be worn. Abbreviated or beach style shorts or slacks with tie cord and without a zipper are not permitted.
• Denim is NOT ALLOWED.
• Long socks and calf length short socks may be worn with tailored shorts. Short socks must be predominantly white. All socks must be worn at the full length. No ankle socks.
• Suitable golf shoes must be worn on the course.

The wearing of thongs, sandals or similar footwear on the course or in the clubhouse, is prohibited. Boat shoes without socks may be worn in the clubhouse.

FEMALES

• Blouses must be worn inside shorts, skirts or slacks at all times unless specially tailored.
• Only tailored shorts, tailored slacks, skirts, divided skirts and plus 2's may be worn.
• Other shorts, mini skirts, stirrup or ski pants, and beach type garments are not permitted.
• Dress, which is permissible on the course, is acceptable in the clubhouse.
• The wearing of sandals or similar footwear in the clubhouse is permitted.
• Thongs are not permitted.
